How It Works
Building Maths Confidence Through the Right Support
Improving maths is not just about doing more questions. Students need the right practice, a consistent routine, and guidance on what to focus on next.
Elite Math Practice helps families create a clear plan for their child’s maths learning.
1. Understand Your Child
Every child has different strengths, challenges, and goals.
I start by understanding:
-
your child's current maths ability;
-
areas where they need more support;
-
what has or hasn't worked in the past;
-
your family's goals.
This helps identify the right starting point.
2. Plan the Right Practice
Once I understand your child's needs, I create a personalised practice pathway.
I select topics that help your child:
-
strengthen important foundations;
-
address gaps in understanding;
-
build confidence step by step.
Rather than completing random worksheets, your child follows a structured pathway with a clear next step.
3. Create a Practice Routine
Consistent practice is one of the most important parts of improving maths.
I help your family create a realistic routine by discussing:
-
who will support the practice routine;
-
when and how often your child will practise;
-
how to make practice consistent.
The facilitator's role is to guide, not teach.
Parents do not need to become their child's maths teacher. Their role is to help create the environment where their child can practise, improve, and become more independent.
4. Ongoing Guidance & Review
Progress is not always a straight line.
As your child works through their pathway, I provide ongoing guidance by:
-
reviewing progress;
-
discussing areas where your child needs more support;
-
recommending the next topic;
-
adjusting the pace or pathway when needed.
You don't have to figure out what your child should do next on your own.

Objectives and Core Values
Develop Focus and Discipline
Regular, focused practice teaches students how to concentrate, leading to faster learning and greater accuracy.
Build Confidence through Mastery
By mastering topics through focused practice, students develop solid, dependable skills that build genuine confidence as they notice significant progress within days.
“If it’s too easy, you’re not learning anything.”
Being challenged is an essential part of growth because it stretches a student’s thinking. Meaningful learning happens when a task requires extra thought and effort.
“Focused effort is more important than results.”
By encouraging focused effort rather than results, students develop a strong work ethic instead of doing the bare minimum to get by. Concentration and persistence are behaviours that lead to long-term success.
